I was kind of busy at this:
And I was super fortunate to attend not one, but two Inaugural Balls.
We had planned to attend the Peace Ball and I was unexpectedly gifted a ticket to the official ball last night.
Needless to say, I'm too tired to blog. I'll be back tomorrow with Wordless Wednesday.
SO exciting! You look beautiful! I can't believe you were at the official ball as well as the Peace Ball. I am so happy for you. Can't wait to hear more.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear more about this! You guys look tres chic in your best duds.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alison and "Unknown." It was an incredible experience. It was such a privilege to be there.
ReplyDeleteAlison, I was thinking of your boys as I watched the President take the oath of office on Monday and then dance with and First Lady that night. I remember how excited they were 4 years ago. I love that our children have such amazing role models.
How exciting! Your pictures are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Katrina. And thanks for stopping by.
DeleteWow! How did you manage that? I hope we'll hear more about your experiences at the festivities!
ReplyDeleteAnyone can be on the mall for the ceremony. We were way down by the Washington monument in 2009. This year we were lucky that friends who had tickets and couldn't attend gave us theirs.

Congratulations on getting to attend the balls! You looked lovely!
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit to our city, annoying protesters and all.
Oh, thank you Sprite.
DeleteI LOVE your city. It's one of my favorite cities, actually. In addition to all of the great museums and cultural opportunities, I love that it's not filled with skyscrapers. This nature girls loves to see the sun!
